Learning doesn't have to be boring! It's exciting to get better at things - especially if you make the experience fun and memorable.
I have a TON of experience in a variety of subjects and love helping others succeed! One of my biggest strengths is meeting the student where they are at and adapting the lessons to meet their learning styles.

Biology, Anatomy: Recently completed a Bioogy Post-Bacc and gained acceptance into Physician Assistant Master's Program.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to get to know them. I want to get to know their process, knowledge base, and experience so I can better understand how to help them acheive what their goals. Then, we identify the specific goals they want to acheive and organize a step-by-step plan to acheive those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's & Master's in Psychology (4.0 GPA, including A+ marks on formal writing papers)
10 years of mental health experience - working 1-1 with clients to acheive goals
Leadership experience - founder and CEO of a medical non profit organization
Songwriting, vocal training, vocal performance - cowrote music and performed with top artist in rock/alternative music
Lifetime of competetive basketball knowledge, shooting and dribbling mechanics expertise. Player and coach, won league titles.

Pricing is flexible, depending on the needs. I am happy to coach/tutor a studnet in multiple subjects at once.
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring, taching, counseling others when I was 12 years old and have continued ever since.

I love going to concerts and finding ways to express ourselves, connect with others, and learn new skills through exciting ways!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a tutor who you can build a strong connection, ongoing relationship, and trust with. There are many tutors who can teach, but you will gain the most by finding one that you greatly respect, trust, and look up to. As a student, I learned the most from teachers who knew how to connect with me rather than just blandly sharing the information.
