Floro English Tutoring
About
I have been a college-level peer tutor since January 2017, and I enjoy working with students on their English and writing skills. I have an associate degree in psychology, and I am finishing up my Bachelor of Arts in the same major field of study.
I look forward to helping students to excel in their academic endeavors supply them with the tools necessary to achieve that success.
Some of my areas of expertise include:
- English
- College-level Writing
- Essay Writing
- Introduction to Psychology
- Research Methods
- Study Skills
I really enjoy helping other people to learn and gain a better understanding of a concept or a way of doing something which they had never thought of before. Working with students and seeing them achieve is a great motivator to keep doing what I like to do: teaching and mentoring.
Because of my passion to go into the field of academic counseling and advising and my experience from tutoring other college students, I always look forward to working with students who are seeking help and guidance in their subjects!
