I often hold a first meeting where I can gage the students abilities and talk about what the overall goal is for tutoring and then making a plan to meet that goal. 

I am currently a registered behavior technician and have to write professionally everyday alongside teaching students skills that will help them become more independent. I often teach reading, writing, and comprehensive skills to most of my kiddos. I often work with unmotivated kiddos who have behavioral problems. I am also a Master's student and often do a lot of writing there as well.

First meeting - $20 an hour, for essay editing / writing editing -$20 an hour. For writing development and practice $22 an hour. Reading and comprehension-$20 an hour. Math development- $22.

I have started to implement teaching strategies with the children I work with along with mentoring new hires in my line of work. I also was a tutor for Fresno State.

I have worked with students with autism, adhd, and typical students. 

I am very fond of the learning opportunities given virtually because it creates a safe space where the student not only gets the comfort of home, but also a teaching environment.

I would look for a teacher the suites your needs, never try to look for a teacher that does not offer what you need.
