Andrew’s Math Tutoring
About
I will never bore students with lectures, rather, teach math in a fun and interesting way. Math is a tough subject and this causes students to lose interest in the subject. I want to change this. I want to make math fun and exciting! I'm currently a student at UCSD who plans on majoring in Secondary Education Mathematics.
I love seeing the look on students faces when they understand the material being taught. Tutoring is one of my favorite hobbies and it's super fun.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students really well, it helps them feel comfortable and that helps their learning by giving them a stable learning environment. If one method of teaching doesn't work, I always try another method or try to put problems into real-world situations, to help them physically see what's going on and why math is important.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a college freshman at UC San Diego! I plan on majoring in Secondary Education Mathematics and minoring in French Linguistics!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
About $30 an hour. I'm thinking about tutoring at most 12 hours a week due to having limited space in my college schedule.
