As a professional English language educator, I have 34 years' experience of teaching students abroad and in America in subjects ranging from ESL, reading, writing, grammar, test prep, writing college applications, and presentations. I engage with students, find common ground, and strive to establish a working partnership that is mutually beneficial and enriching. Having the patience to understand why students have difficulty in reading, writing, standardized test prep is also an attribute I possess. Students invariably find studying rewarding and beneficial, providing they are prepared to apply themselves of course. I believe in empowering students to manage their own studies and achieve their goals.
