We tutor all major core subjects from grades K-12 & various college courses!
“How much is it going to cost me?”
- Tell us which grade you or your student is in & we’ll send you a price quote. Our prices start at $29/hr.
“Do I have to buy a package of tutoring sessions?”
- No. We don’t lock you into any long-term contracts, commitments or application fees.
- You pay for the amount of sessions you want & any unused sessions will be refunded to you.
“How qualified are your tutors?”
- All of our tutors have prior tutoring experience (required).
- All tutors utilize multiple tools/resources to customize teaching methods based on your student’s personality, pace & learning style.
- All our tutors are required to complete a 4 part training program before they are able to tutor with any stuents
- We have 3 levels of tutors available: High school student tutors, College student/Recent graduate tutors & professional tutors/certified teachers.
“How is the tutor going to teach me or my student?”
- Our tutors use an interactive learning software where your student can actively engage with the tutor through video & various classroom tools to make learning more fun, relatable & easier for students to stay focused.
We prefer a personalized approach to education. No automated matching systems. Each tutor is hand-chosen specifically for your student based on the needs, strengths/weaknesses, personality & learning style of the student. We believe the connection between the student & tutor is extremely important, as studies show that this impacts how quickly & effectively students are able to learn.
We’ve been serving the community for over 5 years now! We were once tutors ourselves & spoke to parents & students directly, so we understand what you’re looking for. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before we are ready to pair your student with any tutor of ours, we would first like to schedule a call with you to learn more about what your student needs help with. We do this to ensure that we find your student a tutor who will be the best possible match for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our tutors must have a minimum of 1 year of tutoring experience in the subject they are teaching. Professionals must have either 7 years of experience or be a certified teacher. All tutors must excel and master the subjects they tutor in. Tutors must adapt well and be familiar with different teaching techniques to help their student advance.

We offer three tiers of tutors:
1) High School Juniors or Seniors ($29/hr+)
2) College Students/Recent Graduates ($39/hr)
3) Accredited Teachers or Professionals ($49/hr)
How did you get started teaching?
Diamond Tutoring was founded with the intent of building a tutoring network BY students, FOR students. We are all past students who have gone through the local education system ourselves. We struggled with the teaching style in some of our own classes and wished we had been able to find better help with specific courses.
Many of the existing tutors were expensive and we worried we wouldn’t get the correct one-on-one help for us. Our founders wanted to build a system that allows busy students and tutors to curate the tutoring experience exactly to the needs of each student. Because students have different learning styles and require different amounts of help, we offer three different levels of tutors.
We are on a mission to provide tutoring services to all who need it and we aim to be your tutoring solution for years to come.
