About
I like to have the student tell me which area that he/she is struggling, and tell me what he/she understands so far. From there, I will correct their understanding (if it was wrong), or confirm that their understanding is correct, and use a simpler problem to help him/her understand the basic before moving on to a more difficult problem.
I use a "I do, We do, You do" teaching method that involves demonstrations, participation, and practice. This helps the student be more confident in solving math problems.
In order to help my students visualize math problems, I like to draw things out and break it down so it's not overwhelming for the student.
Helping others understand the simplicity of math and how it is relevant and applicable to our daily lives.
