-Teaching and Performing Experience-
Eight years teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) for The inlingua International School of Languages, five of those years in Switzerland, and three years as director of their school on the island of Tenerife in the Canaries.
Over three decades ago, I began giving music lessons in music stores and schools around SoCal, and then found my ‘home’ and taught full-time continuously at the same music store in Riverside, California from the Spring of 2001 thru Spring of 2020 when I began teaching exclusively online.
I have over three decades of experience as a teacher both one-on-one and in groups at all levels and ages, and fifty years of performance experience.
I’ve done thousands and thousands of gigs all over Europe and the States: solo jazz piano, jazz combos, folk groups, rock bands, horn ensembles, discos, festivals, weddings, funerals, private parties, clubs, pubs, restaurants, casinos, beer tents, dance troupes, concert halls, country clubs, casuals, dive bars, pickup gigs, backyard barbecues, pretty much you name it.
