Bridging Educational Services & Tutoring

We are a nonprofit organization starting up in our community. I am the founder and have been a special education teacher in the school settings for over 10 years. I started tutoring a couple years ago and found that the educational system is broken and we are not actually meeting the needs of the students. This is what motivated me to start this organization. My mission is to bridge the gaps of development that help to enable students to become successful and independent adults. We will be offering and focusing on social skills, executive functioning skills, living skills along with academics. We also will be advocating for students and offering free parental classes and forums for parents to become better equipped in advocating for their child. In the meantime, I am working as a tutor until all funding, curriculum, staff, clients and volunteers have been established. I hope to work with you in the future.
