Hello, I am Dr. Upashana Khanikar, a doctorate in Sociology and a mother of an adorable two year old. My education has taught me to care for young people while mothering has nurtured the labor of love. I have previously taught at elementary, middle and high school level as well as college going students. Although social sciences is my forte, I have taught and mentored students to acquire excellent reading and writing skills while helping them to reach key goals in other subjects of their school level curriculum. While teaching social sciences, reading, and writing, my focus is on the overall development of the child as they grow to become enlightened and valuable members of the society. I like to adopt my teaching methods according to the needs of every child so that everyone receives the best care possible. Moreover, I like to include parent feedback into my teaching as that is absolutely crucial for meaningful growth of the child.
