Hannah Weir

I am a high school senior heading to Cornell University this coming fall. With over 3+ years of teaching experience, I have a passion for working with students of all academic levels and ages, ranging from kindergarten to high school.

I first started teaching because of my love for kids. Additionally, as someone who was always excited about learning from a young age, it brings me to joy to be able to pass this enthusiasm to my students. I strongly believe in nurturing, positive, and patient learning environments, where children can develop their curiosity and confidence.

Having been in 2nd grade during the switch to the Common Core, I am familiar with the methods used in today's primary school curriculum and have a strong foundation in mathematical and English basics. I am also competent in more advanced coursework, having taken 10 AP classes ranging from AP Calculus AB to AP English Language, with straight A's.
