About
I am an experienced educator with a strong background in working with diverse and at-risk youth. I am currently completing my Master’s in School Counseling at USC and progressing through the Multiple Subject Credential program at CSUN, where I have passed the CBEST and all CSET exams. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade, worked in middle school settings, and have years of experience supporting students in both general education and special education environments.
I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my work, shaped by my own experiences growing up in foster care and my dedication to helping vulnerable students succeed. I have served as a substitute teacher, classroom teacher, and paraeducator, and I consistently create supportive, encouraging learning environments where students feel safe and motivated.
As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students show strong academic growth, but also to build their confidence, independence, and excitement for learning. I believe in meeting every student where they are and empowering them to reach their highest potential.
