About

I have a Masters in Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. I have taken PhD level courses in Math at University of Texas at Arlington. I have been tutoring part time for more than 15 years.

Though I enjoy imparting knowledge to students so that they can improve their grades, I enjoy it even more when they learn to solve the problems on their own after my instructions. The tutoring can sometimes be challenging, but is also very rewarding.

Frequently asked questions

I ask the new student about the course and its level. I also ask if it's a core subject or student wants to just pass the subject for moving to next grade.

I have a Masters degree in Engineering and have used and taught Mathematics a lot, though not in the last 8 years.

No, there is no standard pricing.

I start by asking questions to the prospective student to evaluate his/her current understanding of the subject, his/her expectations, and experience with teachers at current school.

I'll skip this one.

How much and where most help is needed; in understanding the basics or more advanced topics?
