Leslie A. Hakala

I graduated at the top of my class from Harvard College and Yale Law School. While at Harvard, I tutored students with and without special needs in math and other subjects. I have been a practicing lawyer for about 25 years, and one of my main clients – – a Wall Street investment banker type – – hires me primarily to polish and edit his reports.

I also have three children ranging from elementary school to high school, so I am quite familiar with how important it is to make learning fun and simplify /draw analogies to concepts that the student already understands. I enjoy figuring out each student’s particular learning style and coming up with creative ways to work with that style.
