I have a passion for helping students succeed in math and not only want them to understand the concept but also give the student confidence going into their next math test. I am also good at english, structuring essay paragraphs and writing using proper grammar. I am finishing my sophomore year of undergraduate studies at SMC and have already done the general education requirements for both math and english.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am very patient, I usually would let the student explain to me what they know already or what they don't understand and work through problems together, because practice is key to understanding concepts.

Currently a college student at Santa Monica College.

How did you get started teaching?
I've always recieved comments when teaching my sisters, and peers about how patient I am and how they can understand the subject better after I've explained it.
