Elya Biology, English And Art Tutoring
About
I am a 20 year old artist. I graduated from the pretigeous high school, L.A. County High School for the Arts where I majored in arts, recieved outstanding achievement in Biology, and English. Over the years, I took college preparatory art classes, AP Biology, honors and AP English.
I was born in Israel and speak and read Hebrew fluentry, so if there is any help needed with the Hebrew language, I will be more than happy to assist witht that.
Currently I volunteer in a high school, assisting 9th and 10th grade English classes. From past expereince, I know how frustrating it is to not understand certain materials or concepts, therefore, my tutoring technique is more expereince based and I try to make the sessions as enjoyable as possible.
I love working with children. I believe that when I discuss certain matters with them, I comprehend the material better and find a new perspective on the world. Furthermore, working with subjects that I love, such as Art, Biology, English, and Hebrew, makes the job much more enjoyable and interesting for me. And when I am curious about a subject, I believe that students will become more enthusiastic about it as well.

As an artist, I have 4 years of studio art classes ranging from painting, drawing, sculpting, film photogrpahy, and fashion. I currently work as an studio artist assistant, so I am familiar with the many implementations of art in the world.
