I am Professor Cain. I teach General Chemistry at a local University, as well as teach AP Chemistry in a high school. I really enjoy helping people to understand difficult concepts and I care about the growth of my clients.
I teach General Chemistry at Concordia University, as well as AP Chemistry at Westminster High School. I have been teaching Chemistry now for over 25 years.
My rate is $50 per hour online, $80 in person, or $65 if we meet halfway somewhere.
Typically, clients say that the material we accomplish in one hour, would have taken them the whole weekend to do alone.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I survey the ability level of my student and modify my content and delivery to attain maximum comprehension.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as environmental chemist for many years before becoming AP Chemistry teacher and University Professor. I have B.S. degrees in Genetics, Chemistry and a Master's in Education.

How did you get started teaching?
I was teaching all the new employees at the EPA job and I realized that help people to learn Chemistry brought more joy than just doing it every day.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught every kind of student and of every different socioeconomic levels. I love to help people learn, regardless.

I enjoy preparing my high school students for the college level AP exam.
