Hi, I'm Emily! I am an undergrad from the University of California, Riverside majoring in Creative Writing. I can teach concepts within English/Literature/Writing subjects. For instance, I help high school and university students finish writing their essays, help them study for English exams, and help them understand sentence structure and how to write academically comprehensively and smoothly. I do so while continuing to be enthusiastic and optimistic! One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is seeing how much a student has progressed in their academic journey. When a student who was once struggling with a particular subject or two ends up with a newfound passion or newly discovered confidence, it makes me proud to be a tutor. Tutoring has allowed me to work with a variety of students, all with their equal share of strengths and weaknesses as well as specialties of their very own. Other than tutoring, I have a massive love for drawing, playing video games, watching anime, and especially writing; I currently have a dystopian novel in the works, so anyone who loves English and writing is a big friend of mine!
