About
Hello. My name is David Sanches. I have a Masters Degree from Stanford University and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California. I also have a TESOL Teaching Certificate from the International Open Academy. When I was at USC, I was an Honors student and I was on the number one speech team in America.
I have more than ten years of teaching experience, including teaching hundreds of children and adults. Besides teaching, I am the lead coach for the Corona High School Speech Team, teaching the youth how to speak with impact at high school speech tournaments.
I love working with students to help them learn and succeed. I do everything with a positive attitude. I want to help encourage passion and perseverance.
I live in Corona with my wife, daughter and our dog Gabbie.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To help me understand what a student needs now, I ask questions about where a student has been so far and where the student wants to be in 3 months, 1 year, and 5 years.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with an MBA Masters Degree from Stanford University. I also graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics, Political Science, and Communications from the University of Southern California. While at USC, I was a tutor and I also was a member of the USC Speech & Debate Team; we were ranked #1 in America when I was on the team. I also have a TESOL Teaching Certificate from International Open Academy.

How did you get started teaching?
After working for many years at General Motors after graduating from Stanford, I wanted a second career impacting other peoples' lives and helping them have a successful life like I have been able to enjoy. So I started teaching kids and adults online and then eventually began to also teach face-to-face in my local area.

I have worked with students of all ages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that understands your needs and has the ability and expertise to help you able to make significant gains.

Can this teacher help me learn and achieve to where I want to be to successfully improve?
