Katie Pfotzer

As the daughter of an English teacher I have spent my whole life grading papers! So I suppose it is no surprise that I ended up working as an editor. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Professional Writing, I have worked at several publishing houses editing manuscripts and now edit long form projects freelance. However, I also have years of experience helping people with shorter form projects, especially in the academic sphere. I have worked with college students for over six years, editing essays and theses. As an avid reader, I am interested in learning about everything so I love working with academic writing. When I edit, I focus on content and style and pass along many tips from my years of studying writing and editing. My goal is to help you make each project/paper/short story the best it can be while also helping you become a better writer.
