Osvaldo's Math And Coding Turoring
About
Hey there, future grads! I’m Osvaldo!
Are you curious about coding, struggling with math, or want to learn how computers work? You’ve come to the right place! I’m here to make learning fun and way less scary than you might think.
About Me
I just graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Information Technology, and I’ve been teaching coding to kids and teens for over 3 years. At The LEAGUE of Amazing Programmers, I help create fun programming lessons and have taught over 1,000 students just like you throughout San Diego. Trust me – if they can learn it, so can you!
What Makes Learning With Me Different?
I speak your language – both literally (I’m fluent in Spanish too!) and figuratively. I remember what it’s like to stare at code and think “This makes no sense!” I break everything down into bite-sized pieces that actually make sense.
Real projects, real results – We don’t just do boring exercises. Want to build a game? Create a website about your favorite hobby? Make a program that solves your math homework? Let’s do it!
No judgment zone – Seriously. Ask the “dumb” questions. Make mistakes. That’s how we learn, and I’ve made way more coding errors than you ever will.
What I Can Help You With
Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript (perfect for beginners!)
Web Development: Build your own websites with HTML and CSS
Math & Data: Excel tricks, making sense of numbers and graphs
School Projects: Computer science assignments, coding homework
College Prep: Getting ready for AP Computer Science or college tech classes
Whether you’re a complete beginner who’s never seen a line of code, or you’re already coding but need help with specific concepts, I’m here to guide you. Learning should be an adventure, not a chore – let’s make it happen together!
