I find it very important to make connections with the people who give me the opportunity to help them develop skills in different areas of their life. It is important to me that my students feel heard. I welcome as many questions as necessary and am more than happy to adapt my teaching style as necessary. Each person I work with is unique in their learning. I will always work hard to ensure that I am putting my best effort forward.
I always knew I wanted to be an educator. Working in this field for almost 10 full years has equipped me for many different situations. My favorite part of this journey is hearing how I have made an impact in someone's life. That is the most rewarding feeling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn a bit about my students and their backgrounds. I feel it's beneficial to gain a sense of comfort and understanding prior to the work aspect. I want to be sure we are in good communication and that my student is able to express their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as an educator for nearly 10 years. I graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies Elementary Educatuon with an emphasis in literacy. Both my job and educational background have prepared me for this situation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is normally within a certain range but I am willing to discuss and work out a payment plan if necessary!
