I have extensive teaching experience in general and organic chemistry from several universities and colleges. I do appreciate the responsibilities of a teacher while teaching - to make an effort to grasp the specific needs of his or her students - then determinedly seek to address the identified needs in a clear and creative manner that, enable the student easily understand concepts and makes the learning experience pleasurable. My approach to teaching is learner-centered and greatly impact student learning in a very beneficial manner. Above all, I delight in teaching and explaining chemical concepts that hopefully help to demystify any misconceptions held about the subject.
I am at my best when I operating according to the maxim that a great tutor must exhibit a command of the subject that he or she is tutoring and be able to deliver material in an interestingly powerful format that imparts a craving in the student to do more learning on his or her own. Furthermore, a great tutor encourages a strong and amicable relationship with his or her student, often demonstrating his or her personal concerns; in a sincere, accessible, passionate, and caring manner, for the student as a person, and the student’s achievements in the learning process. A great tutor gains the admiration of his or her student as a direct consequence of his or her impeccable character, and he or she nurtures the student’s response, as a parent, a lead, and a scholar.
The lecturer is pleasant and know his stuff whilst the concepts are well explained and easy to understand. He is very patient and takes time in explaining things. I enjoyed every bit of it.
A great tutor expects the best from his or her student. The great tutor expects that the student can overcome his or her learning challenges, and never give up until all existent challenges have been defeated. The great tutor instructs his or her student perfectly with specific emphasis on any identified learning needs. The effective tutor engages and encourages the student to gladly participate in the learning process by looking at issues in multifarious ways. He or she employs factual observations not as an endpoint, but as a starting point from which to progress. The good tutor encourages student participation in a questions and answers format, to encourage the student to look at all aspects of the learning situation, and predict what the right answer would be. A benefit of using such style of tutoring is, so often, to ensure that the student is following along with concepts of the topic. He or she keeps the student motivated and interested in the learning process by employing wide-ranging, and animated approaches.
