Hemali Bhakta

My name is Hemali Bhakta, I am currently a 5th grade teacher at an Elementary School in Chino Hills, Ca. I have taught special education for 15 years. After having children, I transitioned to completing my Multiple Subject Credential. I have substitute taught for 8 years in all grade levels, primarily elementary schools.

I am creative in my teaching styles and love students to learn through having fun using current trends as examples. I bring learning to life, utilizing student's prior knowledge and apply current trending examples to connect learning to real life.

I meet students at their current levels and scaffold it to where they need to be, academically. To extend student learning, I provide students with project based learning to solidify student learning.
