ELLA'S MENTOR SHOP

To my students - my goal is to excite and create awareness of the beauty of mastering the English language and arts from K1 to K-8. I used to work as a one-on-one tutor with academically-challenged kids in the Long Beach Unified School District. I can help you with spelling, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing essays etc. My primary job is to complement what your school curriculum requires as far as the English language and English literature require. I will travel to the student's home so we can sit down on the lessons and help with the home work or assignments as well. I prepare a lesson plan on a weekly basis and can be adjusted based on the student's progress. I am available any weekday after 6 pm and weekends from 2-6pm within the Orange, Fullerton, Placentia, Yorba Linda and Chino Hills area. I am also available for short consult during the day via telephone.

I have several years of experience tutoring one on one academically-challenged students from the Long Beach Unified School District. I enjoy teaching students who are lagging behind in class. The challenge for me is to see them improve their skills set - whether it's oral or written communication , reading comprehension , grammar, spelling, logic and other related courses.
