Tabby Tutuoring

Hello,

I am new to independent tutoring but I have been tutoring and teaching for 20 years. I spent 3 years teaching with VIPKid online, teaching ESL to children in China. I have also tutored children through the years under several tutoring companies in person.

I have three children that I have homeschooled exclusively. My oldest child has graduated and is on his way to college. My other two children are currently in 6th grade and 3rd grade.

My passion is helping children learn to love to read. I did not receive a good foundation in reading when I was young, so I have struggled to love it. My children are confident readers and so love to do it. I want to share that with more children who struggle reading and so do not have the thrill and adventure of reading in their lives.

I would also love to help children develop a better foundation in math basics. So many children and adults struggle with some of the basic math skills that they sadly did not learn in their early years of schooling. Math has always been my favorite subject and I hope to convey that love to others.
