Lia Choi

As a current UCSB Communication student with 2+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages from elementary school to high school on numerous topics, such as the SAT, reading, writing, pre-Algebra, college essays, AP Lang, and more. My goal is to not only help my students learn but get to know them on a personal level, fostering meaningful connections that will help them grow as a student and person. I am detailed, organized, punctual, and especially enthusiastic about teaching, and will create personalized, one-on-one lessons based on both student and parent goals. My goal as an adaptable and hard-working tutor is to help students feel confident and excited in their abilities to learn!
