We offer in home 1:1 tutoring customized for each student. My sister and I own the buisness and we personally come to your home to get to know the student and family so that we can select a tutor from our staff of great tutors, that is a perfect fit.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our free in-home consultation allows us to get to know the student and family so we can determine the learning style and personality that will best fit the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Mechanical Engineer by training and have always found ways to volunteer in the classroom. Getting students excited about math and science is my passion

What types of students have you worked with?
Our expertise is ACT/SAT prep. We work both with the content knowledge as well as test taking approaches to get you ready and confident on the big day. We work with students that are working hard to maintain A's and need a little more time for other things in their life. We work with students that have learning challenges and need someone that can talk to them and teach in a way that makes sense.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
Look beyond the academics and make sure you find someone that fits your personality and learning style. You should look forward to the tutor coming each time. Although it does take time to get to know eachother, you will know a good fit within the first 2 sessions. If it isn't working, change it.
What questions should students think through before talking to tutors about their needs?
Are you spending what you feel is average for homework, or doing a lot more?
Do you do ok on homework, but struggle to understand why you do not do well on tests?
