I am a student journalist based in Newbury Park looking to use the knowledge I’ve gained through English honors and journalism classes and conferences to help struggling students. I copy edit for our high school newspaper, tutor peers in the writing center at my school, and I won the editorial writing contest at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention. I can help students grades 1-11 with grammar, AP style and MLP style, language analysis, academic language and strong, clear and concise essay writing. I enjoy connecting with the kids I tutor and helping them put their thoughts into writing without using AI.
