As a fourth year college student, I have been able to hone in and actively practice my writing skills in a variety of subjects and personal projects. I am well versed in writing/editing college essays in various subjects, literature reviews, research papers, articles, and college application essays for UC's and Private Universities.
In addition, I am comfortable working with Spanish speaking students, as I am fluent in the language.
I believe that writing is much more than an integral part of academia, but rather a life skill that is valuable in personal and professional relationships/settings. Therefore, I view writing as an evolving and creative field that I am passionate about teaching to others and helping them master their skillset, while also developing their personal voice and style.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In order to best serve a new student, I prioritize learning about their academic placement, current skill level, and the subject in which they would like to recieve help with.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fourth year Marketing Communication student at California Lutheran University and posses extensive practice in academic writing. In particular, I have written research essays and literature reviews that were approximately 25 pages in length.
In terms of journalism, I have curated feature stories, profiles, and articles on community events, leaders, and social issues.
In the past, I have written articles for a non-profit organization that required me to perform substantial research and editing before posting my work online.

My rates start at $20 per hour and may be adjusted accordingly, depending on the circumstances.
What types of students have you worked with?
My previous students have ranged from ages 3-23 years of age that have seeked help with their reading, comprehension, and writing skills.
