I studied mathematics at MIT and have tutored and taught for over a decade. 

I have been working with my student I. W., who could not ace her pre-calculus class despite being an Olympic archer, philharmonic cello player, and cheerleader with incredible work habits. I helped with more efficient study habits, more calm during tests and test preparation, and, of course, taught her the material. 

Another student I worked with last year, T, was getting a D in his math class and felt hopeless.  I helped him with consistent reinforcement with the material and study habits until he pulled his grade up to an A and kept getting A's after. Right now, he only asks for my help occasionally- such as right before a test.
