About
We never stop learning, so why don't we have fun every step of the way?
Summa cum laude graduate from the University of Southern California Class of 2021 with a Minor in Education & Society and +5 years of experience teaching kids reading, writing, public speaking, and acting in after school programs with an Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity, and Accessibility mindset.
As a working actor, writer, and director for film & theatre, I love bringing a personal touch of humor and fun to every lesson! Additionally, I have a background in biomedical research and computers (i.e. web design, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Java coding, Windows).
Remote/In-Person: Zoom or Google Meet. I have a quiet public working space in my apartment complex with an accessible public restroom where I can do in-person lessons as well. I can travel within the North Hollywood Arts District.
If you are interested, we can incorporate acting into any of our lessons to help your student develop public speaking and social skills that will prove invaluable to them later in life!
LGBTQIA+ and QTPOC friendly! I am a proudly queer non-binary Filipino (pronouns they/she/he) and am happy to be a role model for queer youth of color.
Although I do not have official certifications, all of my years of teaching have included Spanish-speaking ESL and/or neurodivergent (Autism spectrum + ADHD) children ages 7-18 in 1-on-1s and group lessons. I am very patient, the child of an ESL immigrant, and neurodivergent myself. If you do not yet know your student's learning style, we can also figure it out together!
