I'm really enthusiastic about teaching art whether it's to a beginner, to someone who wants to do art as a hobby, or an aspiring professional artist. Art is something inheren within is and is our unique way of perceiving the world around us. I really enjoy fostering that. Art is like a trusted friend, it's always there if you need it through good times and bad. For me personally, (art) is problem solving in a world in which the alliance of colors, shapes and textures make their own sense and that is perfectly okay, and the process is one of complete trust of one's own instincts. I am a current graduate student working to get my Masters in Special Education and I have 3+ years of experience working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher. I have passed the multiple subject CSET exams, the CSET Art Exam, as well as the CBEST and am able to teach a variety of subjects. I specialize in differentiated instruction for students with mild/moderate disabilities and lead with patience, compassion and the desire to help my students reach their goals.
