Hi I am Ryan Kang and I have 5 years of experience in the software engineering field. I have worked for startups and for FAANG companies. I graduated from University of California San Diego. I would love to tutor/help out students who are interested in the field of computer science.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Figure out student's level of knowledge, assess effective way for student to learn new things (either with pictures, examples, etc), adjust my teaching strategies that best fit the student. Not all students/people learn the same way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I tutored elementary school kids when I was a high school junior, privately tutored a 5th grader and a 9th grader in their respective math classes when I was a high school junior, tutored a student with special needs when I was a high school senior, mentored two underclassmen when I was a 3rd year in college (University of California San Diego), and am currently a mentor to a high school senior (been a mentor since his sophomore year).
