Claire Houghton Renoe

I recently graduated from UCLA with honors, studying Cognitive Science and Theater. I have a strength and passion for writing, in depth experience with science and neuroscience, and classes in math and computer science. I learn through storytelling-- strengthening memory by relating material to the real world and finding meaning in what might seem mundane. I scored a 1500 on the SAT, published my short stories at UCLA, recieved the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship for my work in Theater. I would be honored to share my curiosity and love for learning with students, giving them the extra support, encouragement, and resources they need to achieve their goals.
