Hello, my name is Eliana Madera, a second year Anthropology Major at UC Berkeley. I’m proficient in:
1. K-12 Math (up to AP calculus AB/BC, scoring a 5 on both exams)
2. K-12 English (including AP Language and AP Literature, scoring a 4 and 5 respectively)
3. ASL 1 through ASL 4 (Experience: 4 years of high school ASL, 2 levels of community college ASL, earned the California Seal of Biliteracy, and living as a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult))
4. Intro to Psychology (completed AP Psychology, scoring a 5 on the exam )
Additionally, as a former Girl Scout of 12 years, I have years of experience teaching and communicating with younger kids as well as flexibility in approach to each child’s unique learning style.
