Hello! I’m Erica, a dedicated tutor who loves working with kids and helping them discover the joy of learning. As a current undergraduate at UC Berkeley, I understand what it's like to struggle in school—I once faced challenges in all subjects during middle school but persevered to achieve academic success. This experience allows me to deeply empathize with students who face similar difficulties, and I am committed to guiding them on their path to success.

I have many years of experience as a leader and peer tutor, having taught students in various clubs and offered free tutoring to my underclassmen in high school. My teaching approach is highly interactive, incorporating engaging activities and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where each lesson is tailored to the student’s unique needs.

I specialize in tutoring elementary and middle school students, especially in mathematics, and I have experience working with children with learning disabilities. My lessons are conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English—my mother tongue is Chinese, but I am fully fluent in English and can easily translate between these languages to make learning seamless.
