Sophie Peng

I am a senior at Miramonte High school and an incoming freshman at UC Berkeley planning on majoring in physics. Throughout high school, I have taken 18 APs, and scored in the 99th percentile for both SAT and ACT exams. I have tutored many students through our schools peer tutoring program and through paid tutoring in the past. I have also started an organization for neurodiverse students and have consistently worked with a few kids for the past 4 years. I love teaching in a way where students never memorize material, rather they learn to understand it conceptually as that is the way I have learned material best myself. Additionally, I have taught myself many difficult classes such as Computer Science and Physics that was beyond the scope of what my school offered and I believe that will translate over to students I teach.
