Milla Chavez

Hello, my name is Milla Chavez! I am an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in Political Science. I am an experienced math, English, and social sciences tutor, and, as a college student, all K-12 material is still relevant and fresh in my mind. I am the kind of tutor who is very patient and always there to guide students through material. If I explain something in a way that isn’t quite working for the student, I quickly adapt and find an effective way to communicate with them. I try to make tutoring engaging for the student rather than a chore. I am also helpful when it comes to making and finding study materials for students. I have worked with both struggling and high achieving students, helping them reach their potential. I enjoy watching the students I tutor learn and grow and aim to just smoothen the process for them and support them wherever I can. Additionally, I welcome parent feedback and will happily adjust based on parental goals.
