What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Asking questions about their passions and strengths in various subjects. I will then attempt to use these strengths to help students expand their knowledge and understanding about science as a whole.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 4 years of upper level courses at the University of California, Los Angeles. I have held several private tutoring positions helping both college and high school students, and my proficiency and passion for the subject make me a great teacher on these topics.

Pricing may very. Typically I will charge 25$/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching through several private tutoring positions I have had throughout college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with both high school and college students who are struggling the sciences.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I created a food donation club which, in march of 2019, held a food gleening project that donated over 30,000 pounds of food to 3 different homeless shelters.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise looking for a teacher who not only understands the subjects they are teaching, but also has a real passion for it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should consolidate their questions and prepare notes before contacting teachers.
