About
I'm a current university student as well as a former preschool TA/substitute teacher! I’ve worked with kiddos for 6 years now and my main focus has been with preschoolers but I have also substitute taught for grades 1-3 and tutored grades 4-6.
I've worked with kids who have moderate to severe learning and behavioral disabilities as well as neurodivergent diagnoses such as bipolar disorder and ADHD. The tutoring approach I use isn't just for learning issues, it can help with a wide spectrum of things including sleep, behavior, and emotions. I also have an extensive background in psychology, psychology first aid, and social development.
I myself have experienced learning challenges and now I love to share my knowledge and love of learning with others!
Working with me can be a fun experience! I don't take a "normal" tutoring approach. Instead, I use brain games that reinforce a child's natural learning style and help the brain in processing information. When I was a younger student my mom used these games with me and they greatly helped me with my educational journey. Now I share my love for learning with my students!
I utilize online platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet to provide students the best possible remote learning experience while helping them harness their full educational potential.
When I’m not working you can find me singing, working with all things art, design, and color; writing, spending time with my fiancé, and watching my favorite shows!
