The Journey

I'm a high school senior as well as a preschool TA/substitute teacher! I currently work at an educational program where I also take classes. I mainly work with preschoolers but have also substitute taught for grades 1 through 3 and tutored grades 4 through 6.

I've worked with kids who have moderate to severe learning and behavioral disabilities. The tutoring approach I use isn't just for learning issues, it can help with a wide spectrum of things including sleep, behavior, and emotion.

I myself have experienced learning challenges and now I love to share my knowledge and love of learning with others!

Working with me can be a fun experience! I don't take a "normal" tutoring approach. Instead, I use brain games that reinforce a child's natural learning style and help the brain in processing information. When I was a younger student my mom used these games with me and they greatly helped me with school. Now I do my best to share what I learned with others so that they too can succeed in school and life!

I believe I'd do a good job mainly because I have personal experience in being tutored in the style that I now use. Also, I love kids and sharing what I learned!
