What is your typical process for working with a new student?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have held teaching assistant positions at university for mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have been a tutor at universities during my stay there. Lastly, I have taught everything from elementary school to AP Calculus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It's dependent on the course but typically starts at $20.00 and the higher the course the more the price scales.

Make sure you find someone who is patient, nonjudgemental, and open to different methodologies of teaching and/or explaining a given topic or problem.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about why you are seeking tutoring and what goals you want to accomplish while tutoring. I want you to make sure you are getting your money's worth if you choose me as your tutor.
