About

I have been helping students succeed since I was 12 years old. Tutoring was my first job and I have loved it ever since. Throughout the years I have found many studying and learning tips that aided in students' success as well as allowed me to achieve a 4.0 GPA in college. I'm patient and willing to take the time to find what helps you!

    Frequently asked questions

When working with new students, I like to get to know their goals. We set small and long-term goals together. It is important to know what we are working towards so that we can set a clear path to get there.

I like to take the time to get to know the students and find how they learn, what they are interested in, and what they find helpful. My goal is to help them gain lifelong tools that they can apply throughout their academic career.

I have been tutoring students since I was a young student myself. I graduated with honors in 2017 and received my bachelor's degree in environmental resource management. I have passed the C-best and am obtaining a substitute teaching permit.

My standard pricing is $20 for the first hour with a 1-hour minimum. I charge $13 an hour after that. All studying material is included (flashcards, folders, dry-erase sheets, laminated charts, etc.)

My very first clients were family and friends when I was only 12 years old. I have always been patient and willing to find what helps someone learn and excel. I think out of the box and many students respond well to that. As I got older, I helped classmates with studying for tests and editing papers.

When I started taking on clients in college, I shared the processes and techniques that allowed me to achieve a 4.0 GPA. My students have retained these skills in critical thinking, organization, and planning long after our sessions end.

I work with students ranging from elementary to college.

I have worked with students that struggle grasping material and need extra exposure and work to perform at their best.

I have also worked with students who want to prepare for the next school year or excel even further.

I have some experience with teaching children with ADHD. I take the time to find what helps them the most such as working in small bursts of time with many breaks or allowing for "brain breaks," physical movement, or special environments.

There is a famous quote that reads, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

My advice to anyone looking for a tutor is that they should find someone who sees their genius and knows how to teach while utilizing that genius.
