I am a fully credentialed teacher in the Social Sciences and I have experience tutoring in all subjects with middle school and high school students. I also have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in all subjects.
I pride myself on being professional, flexible, patient and empathetic.
I believe my main purpose as a tutor is to support the student in their academic success and I will go above and beyond to help students achieve their goals!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During our first meeting, we can establish a few goals for the student and expectations for each meeting. Then we make a game plan for future meetings so I can plan how to best support the new client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a public educator for three years and have a California teaching credential in the Social Sciences. I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in all subjects.

I am currently priced at $30/hr per student, but is subject to change at my discretion. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my pricing. Pricing may vary depending on travel time, odd hours, holidays, etc.
How did you get started teaching?
I completed my degree in the social sciences at Cal Poly Pomona, as well as my teaching credential program. I completed student teaching in the Upland USD and have taught for two years in Santa Clarita for the Hart UHSD.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high performing students, students from the special education population (especially those with learning disabilities), and students in low socio-economic areas.
