About

Recent Graduate from CSULB with a degree in history. Throughout my academic career, I have written award-winning papers and competed in research-based competitions. The largest research project I worked on was different methods of teaching to help students increase retention of the information and the student's overall comfort with the information.

My research noticed that around 95% of students saw at least a one-grade increase in their subject matter and after checking in on them two years later most became A students using my study and research methodology. This method was created by myself, a sociologist, and psychologist who believed that we have been teaching people incorrectly. My goal is to impart that research onto yourself to help you as a student become your academic best.

I have been a tutor since the age of 16 when I started tutoring chess and science to other students and children. My love for tutoring encouraged me to go down the path of becoming a college professor and try and find the best way to teach people how to learn. The thing that I enjoy the most is the feeling that someone is better off in the world because of something that I taught them.

I started teaching chess after I won a school district-wide competition and a parent asked me to teach their child. Before that, I only taught my little cousins (around 15 kids) how to play. I then started posting online as a chess tutor and found other students.

For science, it was when my high school science teacher asked me to help out the middle schoolers by being a student-teacher and holding office hours. That continued for all four years of my high school career.

This is by no means a comprehensive list nor is it meant to be a slant at anyone person just basic terms.

    -People of the spectrum

    -People with major disabilities

    -Young students who can't read

-Students who are bored with their education because they are smarter than the information being presented

-Straight A students who are looking for a competitive edge

-Students who are in deep academic probation

I have taught people from almost every background or situation I can think of. Personally I do not think that matters as much as the teacher's willingness to find a way to teach the student.

I am not sure I am answering this question correctly. However, I got married around a year ago and I am very fond of that.

If this is about academic history my last paper has passed academic review and has been cited 200+ times according to the database it was posted to.

Find a teacher who is willing to adapt their style to you. Not every teacher will be a match for every student. It is up to the student to decide if the teacher will be able to teach them as much as it is up to the teacher to decide that the student is worth teaching.

Find someone who is willing to work with you but also encourage you to become your best.

-Am I presenting my question in a way that admits fault even fault is not needed? (No one wants to be at fault, but people are more likely to help you if it seems like you are admitting your weaknesses)

-Have I written down all the questions that I need to be answered and do I have a way of recording the answers?
