LMK Tutoring

I taught high school English for 10 years, building great relationships with teenagers of every literacy level, and helping them all vastly improve their reading and writing skills, offering a broad tool-kit for effective essay writing.

I also help both my middle school daughter and high school son all the time! I edit their essays and stories, and support them both in finding powerful voices in their writing.

I currently teach Adult ESL in Oakland, and enjoy great success in helping my students build their English language skills. I am patient, and fun, and energetic, and my students love working with me every day.
