Ronan General Tutoring
About
I love connecting with students beyond the subject material and developing meaningful human connections. I can help with any academic subject up to a high school level, though I also offer career advising and therapy services. Additionally, I have significant experience in programming and can tutor basics to graduate level.
I have a passion for working through problems with others. I love knowing that I helped someone be proud of their work. Some of my favorite moments are the realizations where you suddenly see understanding come crashing down as connections are formed between all of the little ideas of a topic.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of people from my little siblings and cousins in grades 5 and up to college students struggling to get where they need to be.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone willing to teach the underlying principles of the subject, not just the knowledge to pass the test. You want someone concerned about your success even when they are not helping you!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What (specifically) am I looking to get out of this experience?
2. What is the reason I am struggling?
3. Where do I want to be by the end of this?
