Hi! I'm John, and I bring over 10 years of ESL teaching experience plus 1 year of online mathematics tutoring with Grow Paper Tutors to help elementary through high school students succeed. I hold a Cambridge CELTA certification and a B.A. in Pure Mathematics from Marist College.

What I love about tutoring is seeing that moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. I get to know each student individually and adapt my teaching methods based on how they learn best - some need quick, focused help while others benefit from slower, more methodical approaches.

My mathematics degree gives me a deep understanding of math concepts from basic arithmetic through advanced high school topics. I can break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps that make sense. For ESL students, my extensive teaching experience with all age groups means I know how to make language learning engaging and relevant.
