Hi there! My name is Olivia and I'm a recent ASU graduate. I received a degree in Chinese and French and just came back from a year of intensive Chinese language training in Taiwan. I've been speaking Chinese for 9 years and used my skills working as a journalist and interning for the US government. If you are in need of online or in-person tutoring this Spring, I'm happy to help! My hours are flexible and willing to work around your work/ school schedule.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take the first session to see where their skills are at and ask that they provide me with what goals they have for improving their language proficiency in the semester. If their classes provide textbooks we will use those and I'm happy to find more resources that focus on their interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying Chinese for nine years, and have participated in several intensive Chinese programs in high school and college. I love teaching, and in my free time like to help others find ways to learn languages easier.
